Happened at the IOA Today?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, August 20 the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ioa-pag.org\/2018-PAG-Conference\">International Ozone Association (IOA)<\/a> hosted an ozone process workshop giving an overview of ozone and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/aop.html\">Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs)<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Seven presenters representing various research organizations and water treatment operations around the country reviewed the basics of AOP fundamentals and considerations for safe and successful process operation and maintenance.\u00a0 Four companies set up materials for practical, hands-on instruction in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/as-b.html\">feed gas<\/a>, ozone generator and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/products\/accessories\/ozone-destruct.html\">destruct<\/a> repair and maintenance, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/ozone\/solubility.html\">ozone mass transfer<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/products\/ozone-monitors.html\">ozone safety and monitoring<\/a>.\u00a0 The discussion and problem solving generated by these presentations served everyone from the large treatment facility to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/applications.html\"> specialized applications<\/a> such as medicine, food production, or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/products\/groundwater-remediation.html\">ground water remediation<\/a>.\u00a0 I am very excited about this growing industry and will share some of the ideas and information that I am learning as someone new to the industry.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/lunch-discussion-and-sharing.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
