Worth a read for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color:#00d084\" class=\"tadv-color\">Abstract:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many viruses require reduced sulfhydryl groups for cell fu-sion and entry. Corona viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 (the cause of the condition now named coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19), are rich in cysteine, which residues must be intact for viral activity. Sulfhydryl groups are vulner-able to oxidation.
