After restarting it, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/\">ozone and oxygen <\/a>systems were working properly. Most problems were caused by support equipment, including low compressor oil and a likely failed air dryer. We repaired several components, completed annual maintenance, and restored normal operation where possible. Next steps include fixing the air dryer, improving system controls, and adding a filter to prevent future pump issues. We also recommend simple routine checks (oil levels, water flow, alarms) to help avoid shutdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Englewood &#8211; Ozone Trailer \u2013 Internal Summary<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Service visits:<\/strong>&nbsp;Dec 22\u201323, 2025 and Jan 12\u201313, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application Background<\/strong>: The Englewood site is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/applications\/water-treatment.html\">drinking water reservoir<\/a> treated with ozone before the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxidationtech.com\/applications\/water-treatment\/municipal-water.html\">municipal water treatment plant (WTP).<\/a> This reduces pond slime and other organic material, helping the WTP operate more efficiently, use fewer chemicals, and improve taste and odor (T&amp;O) quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Condition Upon Arrival<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Compressed air \/ dryer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dryer fuse blown initially; dryer runs electrically but showed poor drying performance (heat indicator into red; moisture downstream).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IR later diagnosed&nbsp;<strong>failed refrigerant compressor<\/strong>&nbsp;in the air dryer \u2192 replacement likely required (pending final confirmation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Air compressor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Customer concern: \u201chigh temperature shutdowns.\u201d Root cause appears to be&nbsp;<strong>low oil level<\/strong>, not a cooling system fault. After oil service, compressor ran ~1 hour in ~118\u00b0F trailer temp without tripping.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sump \/ flow \/ pump control<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Temporary sump pump initially could move water but not enough to satisfy flow switch; flow switch bypassed. Pump control wiring had overloads bypassed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Injection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Injection pump had&nbsp;<strong>no flow due to debris blockage<\/strong>; injector leaking water\/ozone at port.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chiller<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chiller water level low on both visits; 1st visit had foamy\/aerated water and remote start disabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Repairs &amp; PM work completed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Repairs performed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Restored compressor oil level and corrected remote start\/stop wiring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installed replacement sump pump, corrected rotation, restored overload wiring, set backpressure to 16 psi, returned flow switch to normal operation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleared debris from injection pump and replaced injector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Controls: ozone flush logic flagged for revision; added destruct for O2 purity sensor (proactive).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PM tasks completed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Air compressor (~5929 hrs):<\/strong>&nbsp;oil\/filter\/separator\/belt, filters, tank drain rebuild, drained water from tank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>O2 concentrator (~5781 hrs):<\/strong>&nbsp;rebuilt feed\/waste valves, replaced filters, checked valves, performance testing at 50 &amp; 75 LPM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Injection:<\/strong>&nbsp;replaced Kynar check valve; pump rebuild deferred until strainer is added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ozone generator:<\/strong>&nbsp;rebuilt outlet MVB; verified leak sensors OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remaining service work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Air dryer repair\/replace<\/strong>&nbsp;+ verify downstream moisture issue resolved; then replace O2 conc filters as
