For many families in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), that&#8217;s been a daily reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recent <strong>World Bank<\/strong> feature tells the inspiring story of how the <strong>Binza Ozone Water Treatment Complex<\/strong> in Kinshasa is helping change that. By using <strong>ozone disinfection<\/strong>, the facility is already providing safe drinking water to nearly <strong>1 million people<\/strong>, with expansion efforts expected to reach <strong>millions more<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ozone was chosen for more than just disinfection. It quickly destroys harmful microorganisms while improving the taste, odor, and overall quality of drinking water. For communities where access to safe water can mean better health, more time in school, and greater economic opportunity, the impact is life changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stories like this highlight the growing role ozone plays in solving real world water challenges. As communities around the globe invest in cleaner, more reliable water infrastructure, ozone continues to prove it is more than just an effective treatment technology.
