More than 45,000 physicians in 50 countries now administer ozone.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ozone is typically administered with one of two different IV methods:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Major Auto-Hemotherapy (MAH)<\/b>, in which blood is drawn from the patient, exposed to ozone and re-injected into the patient.<\/div>\n<div><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Direct Intravenous Ozone Therapy (DIV)<\/b>, in which oxygen and ozone are directly infused into the patient\u2019s bloodstream.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Although MAH improves many diseases and conditions, it rarely eliminates them. So many doctors prefer DIV, which is safer to perform, yet more powerful in its effects.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cDIV is the only way you can get rid of something,\u201d says Robins.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>According to proponents, ozone therapy is broadly effective because it attacks and removes disease-causing agents, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, molds, yeast, and toxic metals.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Because ozone is an oxygen molecule without an electron, it is attracted to electron-rich microorganisms. After it strips away the organisms\u2019 electrons, the cause of the disease dies.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938925\">Healthy human cells aren\u2019t affected because they produce antioxidants that make them impervious to ozone.<\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938927\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938928\">Ozone also has the ability to chelate toxic metals such as lead, mercury, aluminum, and arsenic, a process which transforms the metals into oxides that are excreted from the body in urine.<\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938928\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938928\">Ozone is used to treat:<\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938928\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938928\"><b>Infectious diseases <\/b>such as candida, Epstein-Barr, hepatitis B and C, herpes 1 and 2, herpes zoster, HIV\/AIDS, Lyme disease, measles, and pneumonia.<\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938929\"><b id=\"1427768938929\">\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938929\"><b>Chronic conditions <\/b>such as Alzheimer\u2019s disease, arthritis, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS), dementia, fibromyalgia, heart disease, lupus, multiple sclerosis, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), and scleroderma.<\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938930\"><b id=\"1427768938930\">\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938930\"><b>Eye problems <\/b>such as conjunctivitis, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.<\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938931\"><b id=\"1427768938931\">\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938931\"><b>Skin problems <\/b>such as acne and eczema.<\/div>\n<div standard of care.<\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938932\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"1427768938932\">\u201cWhen people ask why ozone therapy isn\u2019t more available in the United States, I say it\u2019s because it\u2019s not a patentable medicine and the drug companies can\u2019t make any money off it,\u201d says Robins. \u201cThat\u2019s probably the main reason why it\u2019s been
