Ozone in Air Applications
Application Details
Odor Removal
Ozone is capable of removing those pesky odors that simple cleaning supplies cannot get rid of. Ozone's radical O3 makeup can destroy odors at their source, and then converts back to the oxygen that we breathe (O2). Pet odors, tobacco (cigarette and cigar) odors, body odors, food odors, mold odors, and industrial large-scale odors can all be conquered with ozone! These ambient air ozone generators produce ozone by means of either corona discharge or UV light radiation.
Air Treatment
ozone can be used to treat air in food storage and odor control applications. Using ozone generators and proper safety controls ozone can be used reliably and effectively.
Ozone for Mold Elimination
Ozone eliminates mold and mold odor by inactivating airborne mold spores. Ozone stops mold growth and will eliminate mold growth in by ceasing the ability for mold to regenerate through mold spores.
Odor Control with Ozone
Ozone is an excellent tool in odor elimination applications as ozone will oxidize (reduce) odorous compounds to fully eliminate the odorous compound rather than mask or alter the odor profile.
NOx removal with Ozone
Ozone eliminates NOX pollutants by oxidizing nitrogen compounds into water soluble compounds that can be safely eliminated in water.
Ozone use in Wet Scrubbers
Ozone is used in wet scrubbers primarily for odor elimination. Ozone improves the efficiency of wet scrubbers while lowering chemical costs and improving discharge water quality.
Plastic Adhesion
Enhance coating, printing, and foam adhesion on plastics with ozone treatment. Oxidation Tech ozone systems safely activate polymer surfaces—ideal for extrusion lines, molded parts, and rotationally molded insulated boxes requiring superior polyurethane foam bonding.
