A12 Ammonia Sensor Module with Auto-Test 0-100 ppm (00-0222)
A12 Smart Sensing Modules:
0-100 ppm Ammonia Sensing Module with Auto-Test Generator. Smart Sensing Module stores operational information, calibration constants, gas sensor identification and range, and software revision level. This unit can quickly and easily be connected to the A12 UniSens Transmitter.
0-100.0 ppm Ammonia sensor
Standard Range = 0-100 ppm
Minimum Range = 0-50 ppm
Maximum Range = 0-1000 ppm
These sensors come ready to operate in any of the above preset ranges (standard, minimum, or maximum). When you connect the Sensing Module to the Gas Transmitter, you will be asked which range you would like to use. We list the standard range as the sensors range, but each sensor is capable of operation in all 3 ranges.
The Sensing Modules consist of an electrochemical gas sensor and solid state memory assembly. This complete package comes in a convenient housing that can easily be connected to the A12 UniSens transmitter. As these sensors come pre-calibrated, once the sensor is connect to the A12 the calibration constants upload to the base automatically. Each sensor can be calibrated to any range within the minimum or maximum range. There is an additional $50 calibration fee for custom calibration.
This unit also comes with an auto-test generator coupled to the end of the sensor. The auto-test unit activates a small build-in generator and ensures that the sensor responds. If the sensor respond properly, then the A12 Monitor will revert back to normal operation. However, if it fails, the output is driven to 3.6 mA to signal trouble. This is an integral part of the Sensor with the Auto-Tester and helps to ensure you device is always working properly. The transmitter maintains a log of the completed tests, and can display the time until the next scheduled test. Tests are scheduled every 24 hours, or can be manually activated by an operator as well.
This Sensing Module is compatible with the A12 Gas Transmitter. If you need the Sensing Module WITHOUT an Auto-Test Generator, then you need 00-0221. If you wish to purchase only the sensors you need 00-0267, but then it will need to be calibrated onsite. You can use the Ammonia Calibration Kit for onsite calibration.
Since the sensors are calibrated independently and simply plug into the A12, you can switch between the 28 different gases offered very quickly and efficiently.
Using the optional sensor keeper you can maintain the sensor in stable operating condition for up to 6 months while it's sitting on the shelf.
