The ATI A12 Sensor Keeper stores a sensor and allows it to maintain stable operating conditions for up to 6 months. This is powered by a C cell battery.  This makes it easy to keep the sensors on a shelf until it's needed to be used, and then can simply be installed in the sensing module.  The sensor keeper also is a convenient way to send it back in for calibration as the sensor comes back ready immediate installation and use.
