This is a direct replacement for the Hess L-Series ozone generators.  The glass is Duran glass manufactured in the same style as the original Hess Dielectric.

The original dielectric used a spray-on aluminum material as the conductor (anode) on the inside of the tube.  This tended to flake off over time and is not available as a process today.  The dielectrics we supply use a stainless steel foil on the inside as the conductor.  This is more durable and replaceable if necessary.

This same dielectric, glass dome, gaskets and brush assembly were used in a variety of ozone generators in the past.  Ozone Generators from Polymetrics, Welsbach, Orec, and potentially others use this same dieletric.
