On Sunday, a journey to Pennsylvania was started.
A visit was made to a facility that was experiencing an issue with one of their ozone sensors. A quarterly maintenance service was also performed to ensure the system was functioning correctly. The system is utilized to promote germination in their germination rooms and operates every night. After the visit, a stop was made at an trailer in for preventative maintenance, including replacing valves on the O3 Manifold, installing new flow meters and pressure regulators, and inspecting the machine, which had not been running. This trailer is a ground remediation trailer and has been in place for many years.
The following day, a quarterly service was performed in Maryland. The entire system was inspected, filters were changed, and a new destruct, which had been previously purchased but not installed, was coordinated for installation. This system is used for equipment sterilization and wash down. Later that day, a visit was made to a warehouse in New Jersey to install a new main disconnect switch for their exhaust air purification system. Upon closer inspection, it was determined that the switch was the incorrect part.
On Wednesday, a quarterly service was performed in Grand Rapids, where two cabinets are used to inject ozone into water for soap production and equipment wash down. Each cabinet utilizes two DG-4 generators, and one of the generators in each cabinet had a burnt-out board. One system was fully repaired with a spare generator, while the other will need to be repaired once parts are received on another service.
The next day, a quarterly service was performed on two machines in Michigan. One machine is an ozone mobile cart, and the other is a mobile system. Both machines are utilized to wash stainless steel vats with ozonated water, and plans were discussed to update and add features to make these systems more reliable and efficient. Following this visit, a service was performed on an ozone mobile cart machine at a winery a few miles away from St. Julian. The owner had been having difficulty finding someone to service his machine until contacting John. Future service scheduling was discussed, as well as updates and features to keep the machine functioning properly. The machine is used to wash down vats and barrels with ozonated water, and ozone gas is added to barrels for long-term storage.
