Duck Tales: Using Oxy-Oil to help a Duck in need!

This past Saturday a friend reached out for help. Her duck had been attacked by a predator and she wasn’t sure how to heal the wounds. First and foremost – we are not a vet clinic. We make zero claims that ozone can heal wounds or that you should use natural remedies before consulting a doctor. But, I, Abby, am a softy and will always do whatever I can to help an animal in need.

After “Waddles” went to see the vet they suggested euthanasia because we don’t have duck specialists in the area. Waddles wounds weren’t life ending, just ugly! So they vet cleaned the wound and set her home with Meloxicam and a “good luck”!

This is where we stepped in! I brought over a jar of Oxy-Oil and showed our friend how to irrigate the wound with ozonated saline and then apply the oil. So far, her wounds look good, but she isn’t out of the woods yet!

We are hopeful that Waddles will pull through! We will be uploading a Youtube video in the next few days!
