  • Aspergillus Niger (black Mount): Destroyed by 1.5 to 2 mg/1.
  • Bacilius Bacteria: Destroyed by 0.2 mg/1 within 30 seconds
  • Bacilus Anthracis: Causes anthrax in sheep, castle and pigs. A human pathogen. Ozone suspceptible.
  • Clostridium Botulinum Spores: Its toxin paralyzes the central nervous system, being a poison multiplying in food and meals. 0.4 to 0.5 mg/1.
  • Diphtheria Pathogen: Destroyed by 1.5 to 2 mg/1.
  • Eberth Bacilius (typhus abdominals): Destroyed by 1.5 to 2 mg/1
  • Echo Virus 29: This virus most sensitive to ozone. After a contact time of Minute at 1 mg/1 of ozone, 99.999% killed.
  • Escheriachia Coli Bacteria (from feces): Destroyed by 0.2 mg/1 within 30 seconds
  • Encephalomyocarditis Virus: Destroyed to zero level in the less than 30 seconds with 0.1 to 0.8 mg/1
  • Entcrovirus Virus: Destroyed to zero level in the less than 30 seconds with 0.1 to 0.8 mg/1
  • GDVII Virus: Destroyed to zero level in the less than 30 seconds with 0.1 to 0.8 mg/1

    What is the ozone concentration needed to kill the Corona Virus in the air, in a room for example?

    and how does that concentration of ozone affect people, if they are breathing the air with that ozone?

    1. There have been a few studies on this. We have been using 20 ppm ozone for 20 minutes. Early studies backed that up, and we are confident that is sufficient. Newer studies are showing less ozone for less time may be okay.

      Ozone at levels above 0.3 ppm should be exposed to people.
      Disinfecting a room with ozone should not be done at the same time as people are present.

    There is new technology available which makes O3 (ozone) directly from water ( the H2O molecule) and is delivered in that same water. Concentrations from 1 ppm up to 10ppm ( continuous and available 24/7) on site and on demand is available with this equipment. The equipment is inexpensive and different units are available, these units only require tap or RO water. iN our dental office we use an installed model which only requires 110v electricity from a standard AC wall socket to supply us with 6 to 10ppm of aqueous ozone ( AO3) at any time we need it. We have a touchless faucet in our sterilization sink from which we can dispense AO3 immediately to fill any vessels, etc. We use the AO3 for disinfection throughout our office and equipment. We use it to pre-disinfect all equipment which may be sterilized with a steam sterilizer ( surgical). We use it to disinfect all hard and upholstered surfaces. The company also has a portable model (5oz. ) which the can produce 3.7 ppm AO3 within 3.7 minutes using tap water or any water source. The ozone can be sprayed in a mist, used to fill a bottle or dish, submersible, etc. It is an excellent hand sanitizer.
    As for Sara-Co-V2, the University of Tel Aviv demonstrated that AO3 destroys the virus within seconds in a recent research study they conducted.
    There are no known microbes which are resistant to ozone. The kill / destruction rate is based on concentration and contact time.
    We have used AO3 exclusively for over 4.5 years now produced from these equipment models with no issues. We no longer use chemical disinfectants.
