Our service man, Matt, had another great week traveling the US doing routine service! His week started in Colorado, upgrading a system from an OXO8 to our OXO10. Matt then installed a second PTI ozone generator to add more ozone to their project’s needs. After that, Matt checked for any leaks as well as for parts that might need to be replaced.
Once the Colorado service was complete, Matt traveled to Ohio to replace some parts on an OG-15 and VMUS-4. He cleared all the airlines from any possible dust entering and checked for any ozone leaks. Matt also did some routine work such as changing out the AV-88 cap and electrolyte. Once the units were reading within the right ranges, Matt headed to the next location!
From Ohio, Matt headed up to Wisconsin to a pickle factory to install 2 cells on a generator they are using. They purchased a used generator from another company that wasn’t working as it should. Matt saw that it needed some new cells and a board. Once he installed those, he put the unit where it needed to be and checked his work. He used our ozone leak sensor test and it passed.
The last stop was a second site in Wisconsin. They had an air compressor that wasn’t working quite right and also needed some regular maintenance. Once he diagnosed the air compressor, he replaced the filter and coolant. After that he worked on the ozone generators, adding new electrodes and o-rings to the unit.
