Where in the World is Service Man Matt?

One of our goals for this year, and every year really, is to always be available for service calls. Last week alone our service guys really proved themselves and showed what is possible in a week! Matt, one of our new hires, has really grasped his new position and has been a key part of our service trips. This last week, Matt visited 4 service locations in 3 different states. If you were born in the 80’s or 90’s, you might have heard of “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego”. Well, this is our spin on it, but were keeping track of our service guys!!

To start the week, Matt traveled to Atlanta, to service an OXG-80 for one of our customers! This trip consisted mostly of regular maintenance to keep the machine up to par on operation. This included a filter change and testing the ozone leak sensors. Though these are smaller services, they are extremely important. Dirty filters can cause build up in your ozone machine and as a result of that, will create poor flow which minimizes system optimization. Matt makes sure to also check all systems for ozone leaks. Leaks can cause issues with operational use as well as cause safety concerns.

The next stop was Nebraska to repair 2 OXG-40’s. These systems are used for sewer gas purification in a local town. Here Matt replaced an OEM board, the old one had been used for several years and were ready to be updated. With this new board the system is able to regulate the levels of ozone and shutdown the unit in the event of an ozone leak. Matt also then checked their units for any ozone leaks, checked filters and gave his stamp of approval on the units.

From there he traveled back to Iowa and was able to make two more stops. The first stop he made was to a customer that had a system, but not a system that we built. Even though we did not build the unit, we can make enhancements to any unit to get them to perform as if they were one of our own. Matt checked the unit for any leaks, cleaned the filters and replaced a pump within the system. While there, Matt also noticed that the system’s ozone cells were not functioning correctly. A little time went into that and the units are running like new!

The final stop before coming back to the home base was a dairy. Here Matt performed a routine check, filters and leaks, but this time, there was a leak to fix. He found the leak and was able to quickly correct the issues and use preventive measures to stop any future leaks.

No matter what state you are in, your needs or even the brand of your unit, Oxidation Tech has a service crew that is here to better serve you!
