The OXW-400 Ozone Generator will produce ozone efficiently from either Dry-Air or Oxygen feed-gas from a water-cooled ozone generation cell. These units are compact, efficient, and easy to use with a wide variety of options and features.

OXW Technology:

The OXW-400 Ozone Generator series uses a Stainless Steel, water-cooled cell powered by solid state electronics and an oil filled transformer.  Reliability of the ozone generator is excellent with a wide variety of operating parameters allowable.  A robust control and automation system is incorporated to maintain a safe operating environment for both personnel and equipment allowing for further reliability of the ozone generator.  In addition, the corona cell is completely rebuildable and field serviceable.

System Features:

- Water Cooled Ozone Generator for reliable ozone production

- Built-in ozone leak sensor for human safety

- Visual feed-gas flowmeter with flow adjust knob

- Visual feed-gas pressure gauge with pressure regulator

- Adjustable O3 output, 0-100% via 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC input

- Completely automated operation

- Touchscreen interface and display

Ozone Generator Options:

Optional features are available to customize the OXW Ozone Generator to your specific application and needs.  Additional options and/or customization may be available, contact our office with any specific application questions.

Oxygen Purity Meter- Measure oxygen purity real-time with an inline ultrasonic oxygen purity meter.  Alarms can be set to alert of low oxygen purity.

Digital Feed-gas Flowmeter - Measure gas flow through the ozone generator real-time with a built-in mass flow meter providing accurate gas flow readings compensated for pressure and displayed on the ozone generator control interface.

Ozone Analyzer - Measure ozone concentration and ozone production real-time with the built-in ozone analyzer.  Measures ozone concentration via a UV absorption UV analyzer and displays this data on the ozone generator control interface.  When used with the digital feed-gas flowmeter actual ozone production in g/hr can be calculated and displayed.

Adjustable Ozone Output- control output of ozone generator from 0-100% is standard, this can be done with 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC input.

Stainless Steel Enclosure - Standard enclosure is painted steel.  A stainless steel enclosure in either 304 or 316 SS is optional

Ozone Production:

- 516 g/hr from 100 LPM O2 @ 6% by weight

- 448 g/hr from 65 LPM O2 @ 8% by weight

- 343 g/hr from 40 LPM O2 @ 10% by weight

- 160 g/hr from 70 LPM Air @ 3% by weight

Using the OXW-400 Ozone Generator:

Ozone output

The OXW-400 ozone generator is an efficient ozone generator that can produce ozone at very high ozone concentrations.  Review the ozone generator performance chart for details on ozone concentration, ozone production and required feed-gas.  A wide variety of ozone concentrations and/or ozone productions are possible based on feed-gas type or flow-rate.

Feed-Gas Pressure

The OXW-400 ozone generator will produce ozone most efficiently at 20 PSI of pressure.  All performance data is listed at 20 PSI of pressure.  The OXW-400 will operate at pressures ranging from 10 - 30 PSI.

Feed-gas can be delivered to the OXW-400 at pressures up to 100 PSI safely.  All feed-gas pressure regulation and flow-control is built into the ozone generator to safely regulate pressure and flow for the ozone generation cell.

Automated Operation

Automated operation is a key feature of the OXW-400 Ozone Generator.  The following safety features and sensors are built into the ozone generator to allow for complete automation:

- Ozone leak sensor - shuts down ozone production at ozone levels from 0.1 - 1.0 ppm (user settable)

- Feed-gas Pressure Sensor - Closes inlet gas valve when feed-gas is below/above set-point

- Regulated Ozone Pressure Sensor - Shuts down ozone if pressure is below set-point.  Closes outlet valve is pressure is below low-low set-point to protect ozone generator cell from potential flooding

- Ambient temperature sensor - shuts down ozone generator if ambient temperature is above set-point

- Cooling water temperature sensor - shuts down ozone generator if cooling water, or cell temperature is above set-point.

Further automation is available to control an external air compressor, oxygen concentrator, water chiller, and ozone injection pump.

Cooling Water

The OXW-400 Ozone Generator is water-cooled and requires cooling water for operation.  An external, closed-loop water chiller can be used to provide cooling water and allow for simple, automated operation.  Size the water chiller for the heat-load of the ozone generator and the potential heat-load of the ambient conditions.

Cooling water may be available from an on-site source.  Cooling water should be 70-deg F or cooler.  Cooling water flow-rate of 0.5 GPM is required for operation.  Cooling water should be clean, mineral free, and as pure as possible to prevent fouling of the corona cells.
