Hi All! This is Abby, The Learn it with a Blonde gal, and everyday I will be doing a recap of my week at the IOA Show! The IOA show happens every year and this year its in Las Vegas! This is the largest turnout they’ve had! Almost 200 people here and over 30 vendors!
Day 1 of the International Ozone Association (IOA) Show is in the books, and what a start it was! My morning began with a delightful surprise—I was just grabbing my iced coffee when I bumped into none other than the IOA President, Denise Funk! She was super friendly and absolutely buzzing with excitement for the week ahead.
After getting all registered, I headed to the first class of the day: the Ozone Basics Workshop. It kicked off with “Ozone 101,” led by Chris Schulz, and I’ve got to say, I nailed it! The workshop started with the essentials—like what ozone actually is and where you can spot it in everyday scenarios. Then we dove a little deeper into its role in water treatment. Fun fact: Did you know there are 420 water treatment plants in the U.S. that use ozone? The biggest ones are in California, Texas, and Florida, but the largest in the world is right up north in Canada!
Once we broke for dinner we went up to the highest part of the Palms Hotel – the VIEW. The View was quite the view! The mountains in Las Vegas are just beautiful!
