Clorox recalls cleaners due to high levels of Bacteria

Clorox has recalled some cleaning products due to the risk of exposure to bacteria in these cleaners. Read more on this from the Consumer Products Safety Commission below:

Our question is, if your “disinfecting cleaner” has bacteria in the solution, how good is it at eliminating bacteria when you use this cleaner?

Ozone is a better solution. Use ozone as a disinfectant and cleaner. Questions? We can help!

Products included in this recall:

Pine-Sol® Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners in Lavender Clean®, Sparkling Wave®, and Lemon Fresh scents, CloroxPro® Pine-Sol® All Purpose Cleaners, in Lavender Clean®, Sparkling Wave®, Lemon Fresh, and Orange Energy® scents, and Clorox® Professional™ Pine-Sol® Lemon Fresh Cleaners. Original Pine-Sol® (Pine scent) is not included in this recall.

Potential risks listed are:

The recalled products may contain bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, an environmental organism found widely in soil and water

The products listed above may contain the bacteria if they were manufactured between January 2021 and September 2022 with date codes beginning with the prefix “A4” and followed by a five-digit number less than 22249.

If you have any of these products, take a picture of the 12 digit UPC code and the date code then contact Pine-Sol for a full refund of the purchase price with receipt, or the manufacturer’s suggested retail price without receipt.

Pine-Sol toll-free at (855) 378-4982, by email at [email protected], or online at pinesolrecall.com and Pinesol.com by clicking on “Recall Information.”

These “disinfecting cleaners” contain potentially harmful bacteria! And they are sold as a solution to bacteria!
