SubZero Max-5
SubZero Max-5
Subzero Max-5 is a water-cooled variant of the ProO2 Max-5 Series! The addition of water cooling technology to your ProO2 Max drastically reduces the temperature of and moisture in the product gas, therefore increasing the life of your machine.
10.5 SCFH oxygen production at 7 PSI.
Note: This unit comes with a standard electrical power of 120 VAC, 60 Hz standard. This will automatically be used if not stated otherwise in the eletrical power options below.

Description / SubZero Max-5
Subzero Max-5 is a water-cooled variant of the ProO2 Max-5 Series! The addition of water cooling technology to your ProO2 Max drastically reduces the temperature of and moisture in the product gas, therefore increasing the life of your machine. Produced in a durable aluminum cabinet to accommodate the components and machinery of the concentrator, while not hindering mobility or convenience of the overall unit. This device produces high-concentration oxygen by filtering room air and using pressure swing adsorption (PSA) to separate nitrogen. Air is drawn in, compressed, and passed through molecular sieve beds that trap nitrogen, allowing oxygen to pass through. While one bed generates oxygen, the other regenerates. The enriched oxygen then flows through a regulator, filter, and outlet for use.
Features:
- Water cooled

Locate the oxygen concentrator system in a well-ventilated area that is protected from weather elements. Temps should remain between 40°F (4°C) and 112°F (44°C) Note - if the environment gets above 95 deg F and standing water is present on nearby surfaces or floor, provision must be made to remove excess moisture from the air. |
| Connection |
The MAX-5 oxygen concentrator comes with a 1/4" barb outlet connection |
| Tubing |
There is a 3/8" push-in connector on the unit for 3/8" OD tubing, however it also comes with an adapter so that 1/4" ID tubing can be used. |
Typical Applications:
Manufacturing:
- Glass Work/Blowing

- Environmental Remediation
Additional:
- Fish Farming
- Aquaponics
- Hydroponics
What is Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA):
Clean, dry compressed air is fed into the first molecular sieve bed. Nitrogen is adsorbed, while oxygen is allowed to flow through. When the sieve in the first bed becomes full of nitrogen, the airflow is then directed into the second bed. As the second bed separates the oxygen from the nitrogen, the first bed vents its nitrogen into the atmosphere. Compressed air is once again fed into the first bed, and the process is repeated continuously. A constant flow of oxygen is reliably produced.
