UV Base Ozone Generators
Ozone can be produced commercially by UV light. Using UV light for ozone production uses a simple construction (only a UV lamp with ballast and a fan) which results in lower costs. Producing ozone with UV light also produces lower amount amounts of Nitric Oxide. More information on ozone production from UV light can be found here.

Corona Discharge Ozone Generators
The most common means for producing ozone is from electrical (corona) discharge. Corona discharge for ozone production is extremely low maintenance and has the capacity to create very large amounts of ozone. It is also more cost effective for longer-term operations. More information on production from corona discharge can be found here.
