Automated Operation:
The OXG-10 is a turnkey ozone generator with all components necessary to produce ozone from only 120 VAC electrical power. Operation is safe ant automated with a built-in ozone leak sensor and oxygen purity meter. An automated moisture drain removes moisture from the compressed air.
Remote connections are provided to turn the system ON/OFF with dry contacts and the ozone generator ON/OFF separately.
Adjustable Ozone Output:
The OXG-10 uses a panel-mounted potentiometer to adjust ozone output electrically from 0-100%.
Ozone output can also be adjusted via 4-10 mA input. This allows adjustment of ozone output via a PLC or another device for automated operation. A simple rocker switch is built-in to choose between the local (potentiometer) or remote (4-20 mA input) to adjust ozone output.
Operating Pressure Range:
The OXG-10 Corona cell has an operating pressures of -5 PSI (vacuum) to +5 PSI (pressure). This allows the OXG-10 to be used with a venturi under vacuum, ensuring a safe environment with virtually no leak potential. Oxygen flow and pressure can be adjusted with the panel mounted pressure regulator . This allows the corona cell to operate at the output pressure necessary to serve the downstream venturi or other equipment. This allows the system to operate at low pressures or evena vacuum eliminating any potential for ozone leaks.
Maximum operating pressure is 5 PSI
Circuit Protection:
The OXG-10 uses a sophisticated power inverter board that will protect the corona cell and/or transformer against failure. In the event, the corona cell does become contaminated with moisture, or dust the inverter will turn OFF ozone production immediately to protect against damage. Every 6 seconds this inverter will attempt to produce ozone and will restart automatically when conditions improve. While we hope our customers never flood, or contaminated the ozone generator corona cell, we know this is a possibility, this circuit protection will prevent potentially costly repairs.
Rebuildable Corona Cell:
The OXG-10corona cell is completely rebuildable. The Quartz dielectric can be removed from the stainless steel shell and be cleaned, or replaced if necessary. We know that air dryers, oxygen concentrators, and check valves can fail. Therefore, we provide an easily rebuildable corona cell so that these external failures do not have to be fatal to your ozone generator.

OXG-10 Corona Cell
The most common failure of any ozone generator is poor feed-gas quality, either wet air, or poor-quality oxygen. The OXG-10 ozone generator corona will get dirty, wet, and full of contamination, however, the fundamental components of stainless steel and quartz are still good and can be disassembled, cleaned, and put back into service in even some of the worst cases.

Disassembly of corona cell (For a video explaining corona cell disassembly, please click here)
The OXG-10 Corona cell consists of very few components. The Stainless shell and quartz dielectric are the main components. Each end is sealed with a Kynar end cap that has the fitting molded in (fewer leak points) with a Viton O-ring and Kynar sealing ring. We stock and sell all replacement and repair parts for the VMUS-4 ozone generator. Therefore, you can be confident that no matter what happens your ozone generator will be repairable.
Internal Ozone Leak Sensor:
The OXG-10 uses an ozone leak sensor for safety. Due to the cooling fans used in the OXG-10 ozone generator the air near the ozone generator will flow through the ozone generator and past the ozone leak sensor. Any ozone leak in the nearby vicinity to the OXG-10 ozone generator will be detected. In the event of an ozone leak alarm ozone generation will be turned OFF while the oxygen concentrator continues to operate. When ozone levels drop and the ozone leak alarm is cleared the ozone generator will re-start ozone production.
The OEM-3 ozone leak sensor is used to measure ozone. The OEM-3 uses an easy to replace sensor that can be swapped easily without the need for calibration or down-time.
The ozone leak alarm set-point is adjustable from 0-1.0 ppm via an easy to use potentiometer.
Oxygen Purity Meter:
An oxygen purity meter alarms of low oxygen purity. An oxygen purity below ~80% will set an alarm to indicate of low oxygen purity and maintenance required. No change to ozone production or operation will take place, only an alarm will be set to alert of required maintenance.
The oxygen purity meter ensures oxygen concentration and, therefore, ozone production is within specifications for the unit.
OXG-10 Control Panel:
Oxygen Flow and Pressure Control:
The OXG-10 Ozone Generator uses a panel-mount pressure regulator to adjust oxygen pressure and flow. This allows oxygen pressure to be set to a required set-point to provide sufficient flow to the required application.
An air pressure gauge is integrated into the unit to indicate operating air pressure. This is inside the ozone generator cabinet and used primarily for service-related applications.
Oxygen pressure gauge indicates the oxygen pressure present on the ozone generator corona cell during operation.
Oxygen flow-meter indicates the oxygen flow to the point of use.
Internal Air Compressor:
An oil-less air compressor is used to provide compressed air for the oxygen concentrator. The oil-less air compressor is fan-cooled and very efficient electrically. The oil-less air compressor is rebuildable and easy to service. There are a variety of compoments included with this air compressor to provide the best quality compressed air for the oxygen concentrator. These are outlined below:
Inlet air filter filters incoming compressed air to 5-micron
Air cooler is used to cool compressed air. The cooler is mounted in the path of the cooling fans to remove as much heat from the compressed air as possible. By lowering the air temperature the pressure dew-point of the air is lowered, which will condense humidity in the air and offer some drying of the compressed air prior to the oxygen concentrator.
Coalescing Air Filter 0.5 Micron is used to filter the air and capture condensed humidity from the air cooler. A drain is used to remove moisture from the compressed air.
Air Filter 0.01 Micron is used to filter the air to a very high quality prior to the oxygen concentrator. This ensures reliability to the oxygen concentrator.
Moisture drain is an electric solenoid valve operated from an automated timer with user-selectable timing intervals based on captured moisture. This moisture is drained from the cabinet via a bulkhead fitting to allow for clean operation and positive moisture removal.
External compressed air option - If compressed air is available on-site it would be preferable to remove the internal compressor and use the provided compressed air to reduce long-term maintenance costs. In humid or poor air quality environments, it is preferred to use clean, dry, compressed air rather than the integrated air compressor. We will remove the compressor, and replace with an air solenoid valve, pressure regulator, and air filtration.
Integrated Oxygen Concentrator:
The OXG-10 uses an integrated oxygen concentrator to capture and concentrate oxygen to a nominal purity of 90% at a flow-rate of 6 LPM. The OXO6 Module is used to produce oxygen within the OXG-10. This is an easy to service oxygen concentrator module that is both cost-effective and simple to service when needed.

Compressed air must be supplied to this unit. This requires 4 CFM compressed air at 50 PSI or greater, air must be clean and dry.
Advantages of supplying compressed air:
- Lower maintenance - no air compressor to maintain
- Fewer filters to replace and maintain
- Better control of air quality will prolong the lifespan of the oxygen concentrator
- Lower heat-load as the compressor is the highest head-load and electrical demand
